Coaches and Assistant Coaches:

Please pass this on to Assistant that I have missed.

Let me first start by thanking you for volunteering for the upcoming season of Burlington Hockey.  We appreciate your support and look forward to another great season.  Below is important information and dates:

Thursday August 28th at 7:00 at BIP Coaches and Assistant Coaches Meeting

                       - at this meeting Bruce will hand out supplies and pass out paperwork

                       - also Susan will be there to Cori any new coaches/assist coaches( bring ID)

Thursday September 11th from 6:00 to 9:00 at Kennedy Middle School, 41 Middle Street, Woburn, MA

Mass hockey now requires all people that come in contact with kids to be safe sport certified

We are teaming up with Woburn hockey

All of us need to be certified this year

In order to facilitate a smooth sign in process at the Safe Sport training, please have your participants use the link below.  This will allow for me to provide a number of participants as well as a sign in sheet for the night of the training.  Of course anyone that does not register will be able to do so that night.

https://www.signmeup.com/102869

For BHSA all coaches and assistant coaches will need to register online at the BHSA website.  This will do two things - the website will have your USA registration number which is required for insurance purposes by USA Hockey, also you can read and accept code of conduct.   You will be reimbursed for USA registration and any certifications.

To Summarize:  All coaches and assistant coaches - need to:

- Get Cori if didn't last year

- Safe Sport Training

- Register under BHSA website

Any question about coaches meeting speak to Bruce Flett.

Question about safesport - Matt shinopulos.

Question about BHSA registration - Michelle Gaffney
